From Naples to Your Neighborhood
'Crust & Crumb Haven' started with an aspiration: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Rome. The Romano family launched our little family-owned pizzeria in 1985, featuring recipes that have been passed down for generations.
Tony Romano, our originator, mastered the craft of pizza-making while exploring Italy, particularly learning from skilled pizza chefs in Naples, where pizza was invented. After returning to the UK, her goal was to replicate the wonder of authentic Italian pizza, strictly using time-honored techniques and the best ingredients available.
Our modest beginning as a 12-seat pizzeria has expanded into a cherished neighborhood gem, yet our dedication to excellence and genuineness remains steadfast. We continue to employ the traditional wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and seek out the best ingredients we can procure.
Nowadays, 'Crust & Crumb Haven' is still owned and managed by the Romano family, with the next generation at the helm of our spirited team. Although we've adopted some contemporary changes, the core of our business is unchanged: we craft delectable, genuine pizza that unites communities.
